Supply Chain Admin - Part-Time

Supply Chain Admin Main Focus:

To provide supply chain support in specific areas of purchasing and imports. 


  • Purchase Order Placement/Review-responsible for checking purchase orders for all raw materials, traded goods, packaging, supplies, and services.
  • Supplier Corrective Action-including variance placement, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Order Status Report EU to US-manage, update, and track imports.
  • General Supply Chain Support
  • Responsibilities (detailed specifications on how to achieve the accountabilities):
  • On a daily basis review for accuracy and completeness all purchase orders for raw materials, inter-company traded goods, and packaging.
  • Place and or check purchase orders for maintenance items, capital projects, service, equipment, and general expenses.
  • Review purchase price variance daily, with investigation, and follow-up when variances are identified.
  • Complete pro-card purchases for office supplies, paper products, ink, janitorial, break room/special events, etc.
  • Submit detailed and complete variances for supplier corrective actions, tracking, and follow up.
  • Updating pricing as necessary.
  • Daily review of import orders to track on-time delivery and communicate any delays or relevant information to the Supply Chain team including shipping delays, Customs delays, booking issues or other.  Real time updates are necessary.
  • Provide support with additional responsibilities in outside warehouses.
  • Other duties and assignments as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Processing of non-hazardous Fed-Ex and UPS parcels.


  • Minimum high school diploma, preferred degree in business or supply chain operations
  • 1-2 years Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Organizational, proofreading , verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of handling several tasks at once while avoiding distractions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Availability to respond to business demands as required
  • Ability to work in standard office setting including sitting, standing, bending, walking and light lifting

This position is part-time approximately 20-30 hours per week.  The schedule will be set mutually by yourself and the manager.  Ideally the incumbent will work Monday-Friday 8 AM- Noon but we do offer flexibility in the schedule.  The position is temporary but does have the potential to become permanent.
